About Kittens

Below are pictures of some very nice rescued kittens. These and others are available for adoption. If old enough, they have been spayed or neutered, have received their first FVRCP vaccination, and treated for parasites. If less than 8 weeks old, they will be held by us until they are old enough and receive their first vaccination, They are all very playful and curious and very comfortable with people and cats and other kittens. They are ready to be adopted, or if less than 8 weeks old, they can be spoken for and held until old enough.

Nutmeg is a tortie about 8 months old.  She is very affectionate and although a little nervous about being held, she will sleep with you and snuggle in your lap, and totally loves having her belly rubbed.  Even though she is a socialized feral, within a short time, she will be your constant companion.

Thor is a kitten about 6 months old.  He is laid back, loves to play with toys and other cats or kittens, if he likes them.  He is very friendly with people and sometimes loves to be petted and held, but most of the time, he's independent.  Thor is a pretty brown tabby medium hair.  Neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a home with kind people.

Kittens need very active playmates to develop into healthy, socially adjusted adults. They are also easy targets for bullies so you must be sure that they aren't harmed during play or tormented by larger cats that don't like kittens...OR tormented by untrained or unsupervised children.

Kittens need to be adopted in pairs unless you already have a lonely kitten or cat at home. If you have older cats, they need to be very active, and they need to welcome a kitten -- be happy with a new playmate. Please make sure that your current cats will play appropriately with your new kitten.

Some of these kittens go back and forth from "Gime all the lovin you can!" to "Not NOW, I'm play'n!" While others are more reserved, and will seek a lap to nap on, but not want your attention much.

All of these kittens would do best when kept securely indoors. Kittens are very easy targets for dogs, owls, hawks, coyotes, other predators, and cars or pools. Please don't expect them to know how to be careful outdoors.

If you are interested in adopting any of these kittens, please call or email Becky: (661) 245-3398 home; (661) 245-3398 cell

I will bring them to your home for a visit, so that you can see, first hand, if they would blend well into your home.
